Six Degrees continues to support organisations operating in the new normal by partnering with 8×8, a leading integrated cloud communications platform provider that enables agile working models through voice, video, chat, contact centre, and API solutions.
London, UK, Wednesday 9th December, 2020 – UK-based secure cloud services provider, Six Degrees, has today announced its partnership with 8×8, a leading SaaS provider of voice, video, chat, contact centre and enterprise-class API solutions powered by one global cloud communications platform. By adding 8×8 to its portfolio of Agile Workspace solutions, Six Degrees has expanded its communications, collaboration and contact centre capabilities, ensuring it can deliver the right functionality to its clients through the most appropriate platforms and cost models.
Following market analysis, Six Degrees identified a clear space in its portfolio for a partner that could help its clients move away from more traditional communications systems with market-leading UCaas and CCaaS. As a secure cloud services provider, Six Degrees wanted to enhance its UCaaS and CCaaS offerings to the market by selecting an additional technology vendor that was truly born in the cloud, and enabled it to provide clients across sectors with simple solutions and rapid deployments.
The partnership opens up new markets for 8×8, as Six Degrees is expanding in the UK public sector, finance, manufacturing, legal, and retail verticals. Six Degrees’ impressive public sector client portfolio allows 8×8 to increase its access to the public sector marketplace and provide services to organisations purchasing through the Network Services 2 framework.
Tim Smee, Product Manager – UC and Voice, Six Degrees, said: “Six Degrees is working to expand its Agile Workspace Practice Group by deploying innovative and highly functional solutions to the new virtual working environment. At Six Degrees we are always looking for technology partners to enhance our customer solutions in desktop services including voice and video communications, collaboration by IM and team chat, and virtual collaboration with video conferencing. 8×8 brings that along with customer experience improvements with purpose-built contact centre functionality for a brilliant collaboration solution for our customers. Our relationship with 8×8 further extends our Agile Workspace offering, providing functionality to deal with the new world reality of remote working.”
Keith Jackson, RVP Channel Sales, EMEA, 8×8, said: “We have been focused on developing our partner programme across Europe, and our new partnership with Six Degrees is another key milestone to bring voice, video, chat, and contact centre to organisations across the region. With a strong foothold in the public sector space, we’re delighted to be partnering with Six Degrees, especially at a time when cloud communications are key for business continuity and resilience. We look forward to growing the partnership and more combined success into 2021.”
