Claranet Acquires Six Degrees

Claranet has acquired UK managed services provider Six Degrees, creating a business with 3,500 staff spanning Cloud, Cybersecurity, Networks and Data & AI.

Claranet, one of Europe’s leading managed service providers, has acquired Six Degrees, a UK provider of managed technology services. The acquisition strengthens Claranet’s position in the UK IT services market and gives customers access to an expanded portfolio spanning Cloud, Network, Cybersecurity, Workplace, Data and AI services.

Operating under the Claranet brand, the enlarged business will have 3,500 staff and revenues in excess of €650m. Six Degrees customers will benefit from Claranet’s broader European operations, while Claranet customers will gain access to additional UK expertise and capability in Secure Cloud, Hybrid Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and Modern Workplace services.

The acquisition brings together two experienced managed services providers with complementary strengths. Claranet supports organisations across cloud, cybersecurity, Data, AI, applications, Networks and Workplace Solutions. Six Degrees helps UK organisations operate securely in the cloud through services across Secure Infrastructure, Hybrid Cloud, Cybersecurity and Modern Work.
