As many of you may be aware, a vulnerability was recently discovered in Citrix. The widely discussed and now patched Citrix vulnerability (CVE-2019-19781) was discovered within the Citrix Application Delivery Controller. There are a number of uses for such services, but their primary use is for load balancing and remote application delivery.
The vulnerability is a remote code execution vulnerability, which means if successfully executed it could allow an attacker to gain full control over the target host.
These kind of vulnerabilities do happen and are not uncommon, however, as the cyber security arm of Six Degrees it’s important that we as experts stay on top of any developments.
